UPSC examination

Guwahati, May 30: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination announced the results on Monday. Two candidates from Assam have cleared the prestigious examinations. The candidates are Shilpa Khanikar who secured an All India Rank (AIR) – 506 and Debajyoti Barman who achieved an ALL India Rank (AIR) – 639.

Meanwhile, two candidates from Northeastern state Nagaland have also cleared the examination. Viku L Achumi secured – 567 and Imsennaro Walling secured – 587 ranks.

Wairokpam Punshiba Singh and Makakmayum Hosni Mubarak from Manipur have also cleared the UPSC examination with AIR – 238 and 575 respectively.

UPSC Result 2021 has been declared, this year Shruti Sharma has topped the Civil Services Exam and secured AIR 1.

A total of 685 candidates have been shortlisted for IAS, IPS, IFS, and many other branches of the civil services under the Central Government of India. The toppers have been selected on the basis of their performance in all three rounds – prelims exam, mains exam, and the interview round conducted by UPSC.

The UPSC Civil Services 2021 exams began on October 10, 2021, with the preliminary exam. The Mains exam was conducted on January 7, 8, 9, 15, and 16, 2022. The qualified candidates then appeared for the interview round from April 5 to May 26, 2022.
