Imphal, Oct 23: Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh addressed concerns regarding the stability of his government, asserting that there are no indications of a breakdown despite recent rumors and a purported letter circulating on social media.
Responding to a journalist’s question during a press conference held at his secretariat today, Biren Singh acknowledged the speculation surrounding a letter that allegedly requested the removal of the chief minister by 19 BJP MLAs.

In his response, Biren stated that the question of whether or not to change the chief minister’s position in light of the rumored letter is not his concern.
He emphasized that the BJP government remains stable and is not affected by the purported letter.
Biren clarified that the document appears to be a memorandum submitted some time ago when certain legislators sought to meet with central leaders.
He added, “As Manipur is a democratic state, everyone has the right to express their opinion. Let anyone say what they want, but the government is continuously working for the welfare of the people. The efforts of the government will be evident to both God and the public.”
