Churachandpur, Aug 10: A distressing incident of alleged gang rape has come to light, as an FIR was recently registered at Bishnupur Women Police Station in connection with a case that reportedly occurred on May 3 in Churachandpur, leaving the community shocked and seeking justice.
The FIR, filed on August 9 at Khumujamba Meitei Leikai, Churachandpur, has raised concerns about the safety and well-being of individuals, especially women, in the region. The victim, a Meitei woman, detailed in her report that she was subjected to a horrific gang rape by unknown Kuki miscreants on May 3.
