Silchar, Sept 21: A dispute between two 8th-grade students in a Silchar school in Assam took a violent turn, resulting in one of them being stabbed with a sharp object.
The incident began as a verbal argument but quickly escalated. During the altercation, one of the students grabbed a sharp object and inflicted serious injuries on the other.

The injured student was promptly transported to Silchar Medical College Hospital (SMCH) for medical treatment. Doctors are evaluating the severity of his injuries.
The student responsible for the stabbing has been apprehended by the Silchar police. An ongoing investigation aims to establish the full details of the incident.
