Guwahati, May 26: Union Home Minister Amit Shah, accompanied by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, conducted a special event on Thursday to distribute appointment letters to a large number of youth.

This significant ceremony marked the official distribution of joining letters to an impressive count of 44,703 successful candidates. These individuals have been selected for a variety of positions in the Class-III and Class-IV categories across several departments and wings of the State government.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma took to Twitter to announce the issuance of appointment letters to candidates who will be serving the people of Assam and contributing to the progress of the state.

The Chief Minister provided instructions on how the candidates can obtain their appointment letters based on their departmental allocation. The joining date for all candidates has been scheduled from the 1st to the 15th of June.

The Chief Minister stated, “As the candidates embark upon a new journey to serve the people of Assam & take the state to new heights of progress, here’s how they can obtain their appointment letters as per their departmental allocation. The joining date for all candidates is from the 1st to the 15th of June.”

During the 2021 elections, the promise of creating 1 lakh jobs in Assam was made, which drew skepticism from some quarters. However, the government managed to fulfill this promise in a transparent manner, with no allegations of malpractice being raised.

Furthermore, Sarma reiterated their commitment to job creation, stating, “During the 2021 elections, we made a promise of 1 lakh jobs. Many doubted if this can be fulfilled. Under the leadership of Hon PM and the guidance of the Honorable Home Minister, we have managed to deliver this in such a transparent manner that not a single allegation of malpractice has been raised!”

Expressing gratitude towards the Home Minister Amit Shah, Himanta Biswa Sarma acknowledged him as a constant source of inspiration and guidance. He credited Amit Shah for providing the strength to the government to deliver on its promises and work towards making Assam prosperous and content.

In response to these developments, Home Minister Amit Shah also took to Twitter to share the news. He stated that he had personally distributed appointment letters to 44,703 youths in Assam.

Furthermore, he highlighted that the BJP-led NDA government in Assam has achieved approximately 86,000 appointments, successfully fulfilling its election promise of providing 1 lakh government jobs in the state.

Shah then extended his congratulations to Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and the entire government for this accomplishment.
