New Delhi, June 12: After Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s grand swearing-in ceremony in Delhi for his third term, Andhra Pradesh and Odisha are ready for their new chief ministers.

N. Chandrababu Naidu of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) will be sworn in as Andhra Pradesh’s Chief Minister in the morning, while tribal leader Mohan Charan Majhi will take office as Odisha’s Chief Minister in the evening. Both ceremonies will see top BJP leaders in attendance, led by PM Modi.

Naidu’s oath-taking ceremony is set for 11.27 am near Medha IT Park opposite Gannavaram Airport in Kesarapalli, Vijayawada. Alongside Naidu, actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan is expected to take office as Deputy Chief Minister.

PM Modi, along with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and other political heavyweights, will grace the event. Bollywood stars, including Chiranjeevi and Rajinikanth, will also be present.

In Odisha, Mohan Charan Majhi, a four-time MLA, will be sworn in as Chief Minister at 5 pm. PM Modi is expected to attend both ceremonies, traveling from Andhra Pradesh to Bhubaneswar. Several Union Ministers and BJP-ruled state chief ministers will also be present.

With high-profile guests and an estimated 30,000 attendees, the ceremonies promise to be grand affairs. The Odisha government has announced office closures in Bhubaneswar from 1 pm in anticipation of the event.
