Itanagar, March 14: Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Pema Khandu announced the annual state budget 2022-2023 on Monday. The budget covered the overall development of the state including the tribes, reforms, and prudent financial management. Also, the year 2022 has been declared as the ‘Year of E-Governance’.

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu chaired the cabinet meeting on budget proposals for 2022-23 on Monday Morning.

In this year’s budget the key announcements are:

  • Infrastructure Development for Arunachal Pradesh Police under Special Package – Rs. 100 Cr.
  • Devolution of 10% of State’s own resources to PRIs for local area development – Rs. 123 Cr
  • Chief Minister Adarsh Gram Yojana – Rs. 15 Cr.
  • Specialized Training for State Government officers – Rs. 5 Cr.
  • Online Pension Management system
  • Jan Suvai Programme/Sarkar Aapke Dwar – Rs. 7.5 Cr.
  • Innovation Fund – Rs. 22 Cr.
  • Underground Surrender Policy – Rs. 5 Cr.
