Itanagar, Sep 05: An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale struck Arunachal Pradesh’s Basar town of Lepa-Rada district on Monday, the National Center for Seismology (NCS) said.
There was no immediate report of any loss of life or damage to property.
The earthquake took place at 12:30 pm, the NCS said, adding that the depth of the tremor was 40 km.
“Earthquake of Magnitude:4.3, Occurred on 05-09-2022, 12:30:07 IST, Lat: 31.86 & Long: 92.98, Depth: 40 Km, Location: 461km NNW of Basar, Arunachal Pradesh,” the NCS tweeted.
