Arunachal healthcare

Itanagar, Aug 26: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has made significant strides in improving the state’s healthcare and justice systems. In a series of cabinet decisions, the government has created 1,588 new positions in the Department of Health and Family Welfare, aiming to bolster the state’s healthcare infrastructure.

Moreover, the Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (TRIHMS) will increase its MBBS seats from 50 to 110 starting next year. This expansion is set to address the shortage of medical seats and healthcare personnel.

TRIHMS, as Arunachal Pradesh’s first state-run medical college, plays a pivotal role in medical education and healthcare delivery in the region.

Another crucial development involves the establishment of a district and sessions court in Seppa. This move aims to ensure the efficient and speedy dispensation of justice, promoting legal access and fairness within the state.
