Itanagar, Nov 17: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu inaugurated the four km road connecting NH-415 and Donyi Polo Airport and the bamboo-made “Hornbill welcome gate”.
The sweeping gadget and automobiles for rubbish disposal from the airport have been additionally flagged off. Notably, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate Donyi Polo Airport, Itanagar on November 19.
Pema Khandu even speaking to the media stated that the human beings of the state can be benefitted as Arunachal will be connected to the rest of the country and the world.

“The state government and the Airports Authority of India together had made seating arrangements for 10,000 people to witness the historic day of airport inauguration by PM Narendra Modi on November 19,” said Khandu.

Khandu added that the bamboo welcome gate with a sculpture of a hornbill, the state bird will showcase our culture.
The Great Hornbill Gate, which welcomes you to iconic Donyi Polo airport, is an architectural marvel.
Made of bamboo and cane, it's been designed by promising Arunachali architect Aroty Panyang from East Siang district.

Tame Phassang, Mayor of Itanagar Municipal Corporation (IMC) stated that the device with the latest technology can be used withinside the airport to keep hygiene.
Likha Teji, Commissioner of Itanagar Municipal Corporation stated that the waste substances can be disposed of scientifically. Teji informed, “As the waste substances disposal flowers can’t be made close to the toll road as in line with the guidelines of NGT so IMC has taken trade tasks for correct waste disposal the use of latest technology.”
