Arunachal, Jan 15: For the first time, Government bus service between Roing and Anini was flagged off on Friday as two-lane highway reached the Dibang Valley district near the Indo-Tibetan border in Arunachal Pradesh.
Chief Minister Pema Khandu share the good news on Twitter and said that for the first time since 73 years of Independence, a government bus reached the border district of Arunachal Pradesh.
CM also appreciate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership as the state witnessed a sea change in road connectivity.

The 233 km long highway connects Roing with the remotely located town of Anini in the Dibang Valley district where the government bus services have begun.
The Arunachal Pradesh State Transport Services department has put minibuses into service to facilitate travel for the passengers.
