Arunachal Pradesh, Jan 27: Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Pema Khandu on Wednesday Tweeted that the state government has taken up a massive mission to develop the infrastructure of all district hospitals.

The chief minister held a review meeting with officials to discuss the same.

Arunachal Pradesh Government also recruited 400 nurses, 66 medical officers and 34 specialist doctors in the past few months to address the shortage of manpower in government healthcare institutions of the state.

It will be a Rs 400 crores project to upgrade the district hospitals with the latest state-of-the-art medical facilities.

This, CM Pema Khandu hopes will go a long way in providing quality healthcare to the people of Arunachal Pradesh.

The Arunachal government will also recruit more manpower in hospitals in the near future to ensure that affordable quality healthcare is provided to all patients.
