ASDM celebrates Republic Day at the Training Center

ASDM, Jan 28: Assam Skill Development Mission (ASDM) has celebrated Republic Day at the training centre of Arpan Aid Foundation in Hatigaon.

The glimpse has been shared by the institute from their official Twitter handle and said “Republic Day celebrations at the ASDM Training Center – Arpan Aid Foundation in Hatigaon. The students and trainers together hoisted the National Flag, followed by other fun activities celebrating Republic Day. #RepublicDay2021 #ASDM #SkillIndia

Institute wishes the 72nd Republic Day to the nation, “Today we celebrate what gives us our right to equal opportunities. May we identify them, may we grab them, and may we make the most of them! ASDM sends out greetings on the occasion of 72nd Republic Day.”

Assam Skill Development Mission has trained at least 1, 18, 585 candidates. For the financial year 2020-21, the total target of 26,600 has been allotted to 396 training Centres, covering 33 districts in 24 Sectors and 83 unique job roles.

The centres were launched in December 2017, with a vision to provide Short Term Training to the youth so it helps them to gain employment in the state, however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all the training centres across the state were closed from March 2020.
