ASDM: DC of Assam’s Darrang asks youths to develop skills for livelihood

ASDM Workshop, Dec 19: Deputy Commissioner of Assam’s Darrang, Dilip Kumar Borah called upon the youths to develop their skills and acquire knowledge to niche out a livelihood.

Bora was speaking at a district level workshop on livelihood generation for youths organized by Assam State Skill Development Mission.

ASDM under the Assam department of skill, employment, and entrepreneurship organized the workshop titled “Sankalp” in the Mangaldai College in Mangaldai.

Borah interacted with the participating youths and cited various examples of how skill and determination can create possibilities of growth even in small businesses.

With skill and determination, an entrepreneur can succeed even with a limited investment,” Borah said.

He also discussed the potential of opening up diversified livelihood opportunities once the proposed Skill University in Mangaldai becomes functional.
