Assam, July 7: Assam cabinet takes interesting decision to serve traditional food in all govt functions. Govt functions to start with Jatiyo Sangeet and end with National Anthem.
The decisions taken by Assam Cabinet that were taken are as following:

All the Government functions to start with the State song of Assam and end with India’s National Song.

In all the Government Functions it is mandatory to wear hand-woven Assamese ‘Gamosa’.

In all the Government functions it is mandatory to serve regional food.

Death anniversary of Tarunram Phukan to be organized as ‘Desh Bhakt Divas’ on July 28.

Gopinath Bordoloi Death Anniversary i.e. August 5 to be celebrated as “Employee day”. On the occasion, 10 employees will be awarded.

The Local MLA will stay at their own districts for three days where the government has declared a containment zone.

The government employees must pay the pending electricity bill and NOC receipts have to be taken by the employees.

It’s mandatory to regularly pay the electricity bill from August; otherwise, salary will be deducted from the government employees.

The validity of the TET certificate is extended to life instead of 7 years.
