Guwahati, March 04: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma is set to inaugurate the elevated South Bank Corridor of the North Guwahati Bridge on March 4, providing a vital link between Bhootnath and Machkhowa for Rs 326 crore.

The elevated corridor aims to alleviate traffic congestion in Guwahati by diverting traffic over the river, facilitating smoother connectivity between the two areas.

Sarma emphasized the significance of this infrastructure development in decongesting Guwahati and enhancing transportation efficiency.

The Guwahati-North Guwahati Bridge Elevated South Bank Corridor is a pivotal project nearing completion, promising improved connectivity and reduced travel times for commuters.
