Guwahati, May 06: There are a total of 1,529 centenarian voters in the third phase of Assam’s Lok Sabha elections. The 20-29 age group also has the largest number of voters.

According to the state election department, the total number of voters in phase III is 81,49,091, of which 41,00,544 are male voters, 40,48,436 are female voters and 111 are third-gender voters.

The third phase. Covers 40 constituencies in Kokrajhar, Dhubri, Barpeta and Guwahati Lok Sabha constituencies. Centurion voters who requested postal voting have already been given this option.

Furthermore, the 20-29 age group has the highest number of voters with a total of 23,00,787 in the third phase of the election.

The total number of first-time voters in this phase is 2,10,177. It is also worth mentioning that there are a total of 4,400 voters over 100 years old in all the state stations in four parliamentary constituencies.

Of these, 9,511 are primary polling stations and five additional polling stations.

In the third phase, 47 candidates are eligible in four districts, out of which Barpeta has the most 14 candidates and Guwahati has the least 8 candidates.
