Assam: Start-up names tea after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to ‘honour his valour’

Assam, March 19: An Assam-based start-up has launched a tea after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to honour his valour and courage. The Zelenskyy brand of blended Assam tea has been launched by Ranjit Baruah, Founder-Director of Aromica Tea.

The Volodymyr Zelenskyy is a blend of Assam CTC and handcrafted orthodox tea. The Zelenskyy tea is inspired by the courage and valour of the Ukrainian President.

The basic idea is to honour the valour and courage of the Ukrainian president who rejected the US offer to escape war-torn Ukraine. Zelenskyy said he does not need a free ride but ammunition. This shows his character,” Baruah said.

The Aromica Tea Founder was impressed by how the Ukrainian President declined the US government’s offer to evacuate him as Russia attacked his country.

We are trying to draw an analogy between his character and valour and that of the Assam tea,” Baruah said.

He said that the tea aims to send the message to talk about peace, and not war, over a cup of strong black Assam tea.

The Zelenskyy tea was launched on the website of Aromica Tea on Wednesday. It will be available on e-commerce platforms soon.
