Assembly Election 2021

Delhi, Feb 26: The Election Commission has announced the poll dates for assembly elections in West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Assam and Puducherry. Election to the 126-member Assam Assembly, 140-member Kerala Assembly, 234-member Tamil Nadu Assembly, 294-member West Bengal Assembly and 30-member Puducherry Assembly will be held between March 27 and April 29. The results for all assembly elections will be announced on May 2.

First Phase: March 27

Tamil Nadu – Single Phase – April 6

  • The polling for 30 assembly seats in Puducherry Assembly will be held on April 6, along with Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
  • West Bengal Assembly Election will be held in eight phases.First phase polling to be held in five districts on March 27

  • All 234 assembly seats in Tamil Nadu will go to polls along with Kerala on April 6.
  • All seats of the Kerala Assembly will go to polls in a single phase on April 6.
  • The results of all upcoming assembly elections will be out on May 2.
