Guwahati, February 4: The auction amount of record-breaking tea has been donated to the Assam Chief Minister Relief Fund.
Manohari TE MD Shri Rajan Lohia handed over a cheque of ₹99,999 to CM Dr @himantabiswa as contribution towards CM Relief Fund.

Manohari Tea Estate Managing Director Rajan Lohia on Friday handed over a cheque of Rs 99,999 to Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma as a contribution towards CM Relief Fund during the Assam Chief Minister’s visit in Dibrugarh district.

Assam Manohari tea fetched Rs 99,999 per kg at Guwahati Tea Auction Centre (GTAC) on December 14 last year, a world record for 4th time and the amount realised from all 4 auctions were contributed to CMRF.
A pack of record-breaking Manohari Gold Tea was also presented to the Assam Chief Minister.
