BJP MP Kirron Kher suffering from blood cancer, undergoing treatment

Sood further added that the 68-year-old Bollywood actor-turned-politician is recovering after her treatment for the disease started last year. Anupam Kher, Kirron Kher’s husband also took to Twitter to confirm the news.

Putting an end to all the rumours circulating on the web, Anupam Kher shared a note on Twitter confirming that Kirron Kher has been diagnosed with blood cancer and is undergoing treatment.

The statement that was released on behalf of his son Sikander and him reads, “Just so that the rumours don’t get the better of a situation Sikander and I would like to inform everyone that Kirron has been diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer.

After her medical tests at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) in Chandigarh, she was diagnosed with multiple myeloma. The disease had spread to her left arm and right shoulder. For treatment, she had to go to Mumbai on December 4.”
