Rajya Sabha bypoll

Agartala, Sep 10: The BJP has nominated former Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb as the party’s candidate for the bypoll to the lone Rajya Sabha seat in the state.

“I am committed to working for the development and welfare of Tripura and its people,” he added.

Meanwhile, the Left Front in Tripura has named former finance minister and MLA Bhanulal Saha as its candidate for the Rajya Sabha bypoll.
