BJP seeks President’s rule in Bengal

Bengal, Dec 10: Bengal BJP seeks Presidential rule in the state after a worker allegedly shot by the police during the BJP’s Uttar Kanya Abhiyan.

The Democracy, common people, and constitution are in danger here. I want to request the central government for a CID investigation in this matter and take strict action on the police who did this. I also request to implement Presidential rule in Bengal as TMC is not able to control the situation,” BJP MP Raju Bista said.

Talking about the incident that happened in Siliguri MP said “Today our lot of workers are injured and admitted to hospital. One of our 50-year-old workers, Ulen Roy has lost his life after been shot by the police. Today in West Bengal, Mamata didi is expecting that no other party else than TMC stand for the election and no one will be able to protest against them. In 2017, the government had killed the Gorkha people on-road and the blame has been put on the leaders of Gorkha. Yesterday the same incident happened and an FIR registered on our leaders and MPs. It is not only bad politics it is a dictatorship and shameful incident.”

Taking a dig at state administration, MP said that police are working to save the TMC.

The kind of politics TMC is doing now, you have to accept that TMC is going to be defeated. On 7th December in Siliguri, a peaceful rally was held by the North Bengal BJP Yuva morcha. Kailash Vijayvargiya, Dilip Ghosh, president of BJYM Tejasvi Surya along with other leaders and workers of North Bengal attended the march. We can understand by this rally that the people of Bengal are in the notion to change the situation. But the way police treated on the orders of Mamata didi was a shameful incident. I think police is not working as the administration but trying their best to save TMC government,” MP Raju Bista added.
