BSF seized 185 nos of Yaba Tablets in West Bengal

Guwahati, Aug 23: Troops of Guwahati Frontier of Border Security Force (BSF) had seized 185 Nos Yaba tablets from the bordering area of West Bengal, Coochbehar district.

Acting on a tip-off, BSF troops of Border Out Post (BOP) Jhikri of 192 Bn conducted a search operation in West Bengal, in a house of an Indian national namely Hassan Miya (56 Yrs), S/o Mazibur Miya, Vill Khetabarkutti-II, PO Choudharyhat, PS Sahebganj of Coochbehar district in presence of Village Khetabarkutti-II member and recovered 185 nos Yaba Tablets.

Further Hassan Miya along with seized item has been handed over to Sahebganj police station further legal action.

Keeping in view the vulnerability of border, heightened activities of the smugglers and anti-national elements on the border, BSF troops are always alert towards the issues of trans-border crimes & illegal infiltration and are making all-out efforts to prevent the commission of such crimes.
