Mizoram reports 12 fresh COVID-19 positive cases, Nagaland registers 6 new cases
Guwahati, June 2: Nagaland on Tuesday has registered six fresh positive cases for COVID-19 taking the state tally to 49, and Mizoram has reported 12 new COVID-19 positive cases which takes the state tally to 28.
Confirming the report, Nagaland Health minister S Pangnyu Phom said that, out of 90 samples tested from Chennai returnees, six persons including a female have tested positive for COVID-19.
The new cases have been reported from Dimapur.
S Pangnyu Phom tweeted – “Out of 90 samples tested from Chennai returnees, 5 Male & 1 Female has tested COVID-19 +ve. All cases are from Dimapur. Positive : 49, Active : 49.”

On the other hand, Mizoram on Tuesday has reported 12 new COVID-19 positive cases.
According to the Mizoram government, 12 persons including one male and 10 female have been tested positive for COVID-19 and out of the 11 persons are from Kolasib quarantine centre and one is an inpatient of Zoram Medical College (ZMC).
Out of the new cases, 10 persons had returned to the state from Delhi and two from Kolkata recently.
Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga tweeted – “12 new Covid-19 positive cases confirmed at Zoram Medical College, Mizoram. All are under professional care.”
