Bengaluru, Dec 22: Amid the modern music era dominated by hip-hop and Rap, young Disha Baid has uniquely carved her niche in chanting Sanskrit shloka.

At just six years old, this Bengaluru resident and Upper Kindergarten student at New Horizon Public School, Indiranagar. She has etched her name in the prestigious INDIA’S WORLD RECORDS records.

Disha’s remarkable achievement lies in her ability to chant 12 Sanskrit shlokas in 40 lines in just three minutes, showcasing a profound connection with India’s cultural roots.

Her feat not only brings pride to her parents but also stands as a testament to the potential of the future generation to preserve and cherish our societal heritage.

While talking about the achievement Disha said “I am overjoyed to receive this honor and aspire to achieve many more in the future. It brings me immense joy, and when I successfully chant all the shlokas, my parents reward me with the delight of eating ice cream and treat me to chocolate as well. they enrolled me to learn Hindustani Folk Music as well. I love that class and my teachers help me a lot to be the best of myself.”
