Taiwan, April 06: 12 people were killed by the magnitude 7.4 earthquake that happened on Wednesday morning on the east coast of Taiwan and 10 others are still missing.
More than 600 people, including 450 at a hotel in Taroka Park, remained stranded in the location for road blockage and damages.
The low number of deaths from such a strong earthquake has made everyone shock. Many places are restricted because of the earthquake.
Rescuers were planning to bring in heavy equipment on Saturday to recover two buried bodies under boulders. On the Shakadang trail there was found two dead bodies and four people were missing.

A man and woman’s trapped bodies were found but they have not been identified according to the media reports.
Survivors of this earthquake saif tails of rocks tumbling into the roads, trapping them in tunnels until Rescures arrived to free them. In the city of Hualien, a building fell over the street at a precarious angle.
On Friday Rescures freed nine people trapped in a winding cave popular tourist place while locating two others who feared death.
Some opted to throw mattresses and bags of clothing out the window, while a young mother slowly carried a cot for her 10-month-old baby.
“They were informed that the building has become dangerous and there probably won’t be another chance to move things afterwards, “ said the 24-year-old woman.
