Imphal, April 21: The Election Commission of India has declared fresh polls for 11 polling stations in Manipur’s Inner Parliamentary Constituency after invoking Sections 58(2) and 58A(2) of the Representation of the People Act, 1951.
The elections held on April 19, 2024, at these stations, were deemed void, prompting the decision for a redo on April 22, 2024, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The affected polling stations are as follows:
- Sajeb (A) Moirangkampu Sajeb Upper Primary School
- Khurai Thongam Leikai S. Ibobi Primary School (East Wing), Khurai Thongam Leikai
- Bamon Kampu (North-A) Bamon Kampu Upper Primary School
- Bamon Kampu (North-B) Pioneer Academy
- Bamon Kampu (South West) Irilbung High School (North Wing)
- Bamon Kampu (South East) Irilbung High School (South Wing)
- Khongman Zone-V(A) National Children’s School
- Iroishemba Iroisemba Upper Primary School (Eastern Wing)
- Iroishemba Mamang Leikai Iroisemba Upper Primary School (Western Wing)
- Iroishemba Mayai Leikai Iroisemba Upper Primary School (Middle Wing)
- Khaidem Makha Khaidem Primary School (Southern Wing)
