West Kameng, March 09: Sangti Valley in the West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh is one of the offbeat places in the state. Most of the time, the valley is seen as a transit destination or a very short detour. Believe us, these quick detours don’t do justice to the scenic beauty of the valley.

You can of course camp in the valley if you have permission from the local authorities. There are several campsites by the river or deep in the forest where you can rent tents, sleeping bags, and other camping equipment. And if you’re hesitant to travel on your own, approved tour operators are always available.
