New Delhi, Feb 19: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma met Union Home Minister Amit Shah today at his official residence in New Delhi. The meeting occurred on the sidelines of the BJP National Convention, attended by Chief Ministers from across the country.

During the meeting, Sarma discussed various matters with Shah, with a primary focus on the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. It is anticipated that Amit Shah will play a significant role as a star campaigner in Assam during the election period.

Simultaneously, Himanta Biswa Sarma, along with other BJP chief ministers from the Northeast, participated in the BJP Chief Minister’s Conclave. The conclave saw discussions on the party’s strategies for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Taking to the social media platform X, CM Sarma expressed gratitude for the guidance received from Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the BJP Chief Minister’s Conclave. He reiterated the commitment to achieving 100% saturation of all welfare schemes of the Modi Government within a specified timeframe.
