Sports, Oct 07: India made history at the 2023 Asian Games by achieving a remarkable 100-medal tally, which included 25 gold, 35 silver, and 40 bronze medals. This milestone was reached on October 7, 2023, as Indian athletes continued to showcase their exceptional talents and dedication to their respective sports.

In a thrilling display of excellence, India secured three consecutive gold medals in archery and women’s kabaddi, pushing the nation’s medal count to the impressive century mark. These achievements added to the nation’s growing list of accolades at the Asian Games 2023.

The archery events saw outstanding performances from Indian archers Jyothi Vennam and Praveen Ojas.
