New Delhi, Dec 02: India has reported 88 new cases of COVID-19, with the active cases currently standing at 396, as per the latest data from the Union Health Ministry updated on Saturday. The death toll reached 5,33,300, according to the 8 am update.
The total COVID-19 cases in the country have reached 4.50 crore (4,50,02,103). On a positive note, the number of recoveries has risen to 4,44,68,407, leading to a national recovery rate of 98.81 percent, as per the health ministry’s website.

The case fatality rate remains at 1.19 percent. The data also reveals that a total of 220.67 crore doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in the country so far.
