Stranded amidst landslides, 500 tourists found themselves in a precarious situation, but thanks to the proactive efforts of the troops from Trishakti Corps, they were successfully rescued and provided with essential support.
On May 19, as heavy rains relentlessly poured over Lachen, Lachung, and Chungthang, triggering landslides and disrupting transportation, a sense of urgency gripped the region.
