Chennai Super Kings

Devon Conway: The New Zealand batter underwent thumb surgery, sidelining him for approximately eight weeks. Chennai Super Kings are yet to announce a replacement for him.

Delhi Capitals

Harry Brook: The English batter withdrew from the tournament due to a family tragedy, as he lost his grandmother after a prolonged illness. Delhi Capitals are yet to name a replacement for Brook.

Gujarat Titans

Mohammed Shami: The absence of the veteran Indian pacer from the Gujarat Titans lineup is significant. Gus Atkinson: English pacer Gus Atkinson also opted out of his debut IPL season to manage his workload effectively, as per the directive of the England and Wales Cricket Board. Sri Lankan bowler Dushmantha Chameera has been chosen as his replacement.

Prasidh Krishna: The Karnataka pacer, who represented India in T20Is last year, will miss IPL 2024 due to a quadriceps injury sustained during the Ranji Trophy 2023-24 season. He underwent surgery in February, ruling him out of the tournament.
