Kohima, Jan 16: In the ongoing Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Nagaland, Congress leader Jairam Ramesh criticized Union Minister Nitin Gadkari for the poor condition of highways in the region.

The Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, led by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, commenced in Manipur and has become a platform for addressing concerns related to infrastructure and maintenance.

Expressing his dissatisfaction with the state of highways, Jairam Ramesh highlighted the condition of NH 29, emphasizing the presence of stones and potholes.

He pointedly remarked, “Nitin Gadkari and the Prime Minister say a lot of things…but this road is all stones and potholes. This is called a National Highway…”

As part of the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, Rahul Gandhi engages with various communities and civil society organizations.
