Guwahati, April 11: BJP national president JP Nadda released the party’s manifesto, ‘Sankalp Patra,’ tailored for the forthcoming Sikkim Assembly Election 2024.

The unveiling ceremony took place at Manan Kendra in Sikkim on April 11, with Nadda leading the event alongside key party figures like Dr. Dilip Jaiswal, Sikkim BJP In-charge, State BJP President Dr. R. Thapa, Leader of the Opposition Shri N.K. Subba, and BJP MP candidate Dinesh Chandra Nepal.

‘Sankalp Patra’ addresses critical issues like unemployment, emphasizing job creation and holistic development. It also tackles revenue generation challenges while promising robust anti-corruption measures.

Nadda clarified the BJP‘s stance on Christianity, citing Nagaland’s governance with a Christian-majority population. He paid homage to Sikkim’s Guardian deity, Mount Kanchenjunga.

Emphasizing the Northeast’s significance as Asia’s gateway, Nadda reiterated the BJP’s commitment to enhancing connectivity and last-mile delivery, contrasting it with the previous government’s neglect.

Under BJP’s leadership, the Northeast has witnessed transformation, transitioning from conflict to peace and prosperity.

Nadda highlighted achievements like 11 peace accords, the surrender of 9000 insurgents, an 82% reduction in violent incidents, and substantial investments of 5 lakh crore in developmental projects.
