Imphal, Jan 23: Twenty four-year-old Thounaojam Niranjoy Singh from Manipur broke the Guinness Book of World Record for most push-ups (fingertips) in one minute.

Niranjoy, who is a two-time Guinness World Record holder, broke the old record of 105 push-ups by achieving 109 push-ups in one minute during a Guinness Book of World Records attempt organized by Aztecs Sports Manipur at Aztecs fight studio in Imphal.

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju was amazed by this and shared a video on Twitter.

“Amazing to see unbelievable power of Manipuri youth T. Niranjoy Singh who broke the Guinness Book of World Records for most push-ups (fingertips) in one minute. I’m so proud of his achievement!!” Kiren Rijiju tweeted.

The previous record-holder in most push-ups (fingertips) in one minute is Graham Maly from the United Kingdom. He created the record in 2009.
