Guwahati, Nov 06: A major fire engulfed more than 15 businesses in Guwahati’s Barbari area, resulting in significant damage on the night of November 5. This incident occurred within the market at Barbari Tiniali, where approximately 19 shops, primarily dealing in fruits and vegetables, were devastated.
The cause of the fire is suspected to be arson, with locals believing that unknown miscreants are responsible for the blaze. Authorities, including the police and fire department, were promptly informed about the situation.

In response, three fire trucks were dispatched to the scene in an effort to control and extinguish the raging fire.
