Valentine's Day meghalaya

Shillong, Feb 12: Never short of innovative ways to encourage voters to exercise their franchise, the department of elections in Meghalaya has decided to reach out to the younger generation or millennials on Valentine’s Day.

“For February 14, the electoral commission has planned a musical special campaign ‘My Vote My Valentine’ at 300 polling stations of the state where the turnout was less than the average polling last time,” a poll official said.
