Shillong, July 29: In Shillong, a government-owned Gypsy was destroyed by an arson attack in Nongmynsong early on July 29.
The vehicle, registered as ML 01 5989 and owned by the Public Works Department (PWD), was completely consumed by the fire.

The incident occurred around 3 am near the Nongmensong Umkdait post office.
Emergency services arrived too late to prevent the extensive damage. Authorities have initiated an investigation and are working to identify those responsible.
