Mumbai, Feb 22: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president JP Nadda has emphasized that the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections will represent a clash between dynastic politics and corruption on one side and the agenda of development on the other.

Speaking to party workers from Mumbai’s western suburbs during his visit to the metropolis, Nadda underlined the significant strides India has made under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, propelling it from the fifth to potentially the third largest economy globally.

Nadda criticized opposition parties opposed to the BJP, accusing them of being either dynastic or mired in corruption. He urged party workers to connect with voters and solicit their support for a renewed mandate for the BJP at the Centre.

Noting that first-time voters in the past decade have experienced a government focused on development rather than the corruption prevalent in previous administrations, Nadda framed the upcoming elections as a battle between the legacy of dynastic politics and corruption versus the BJP’s development-driven agenda.

The BJP president stressed that dynastic politics and corruption ultimately lead to destruction, contrasting it with the BJP’s commitment to progress and good governance.

During his visit, Nadda engaged with BJP office-bearers from all 36 assembly constituencies in Mumbai, as well as party MPs and MLAs from the city.

He urged them to ensure that the BJP’s ideology permeates every stratum of society and encouraged them to effectively counter opposition criticisms against the party and its government.

Nadda advised BJP leaders to leverage social media platforms extensively and garner support from prominent figures on issues pertinent to public welfare.

Additionally, Nadda presided over meetings of the Election Management Committee for all six Lok Sabha constituencies in Mumbai as part of the party’s preparations for the upcoming national elections.
