Nagaland, Dec 10: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) formed by the Nagaland government has started its probe into the killing of 14 civilians in the Mon district.
The SIT has requested any people in Nagaland having any information on the unfortunate incident to contact the SIT.
In the press statement, Nagaland police said that in connection with State Crime Police Station Case No 07/2021 of Oting killing incident in Mon district on the 4th of December 2021, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) has requested any person having any information on the unfortunate incident to contact the SIT.
“Any person having photos, videos, suspicious activities from the primary source or any other information connected with the incident in original not forwarded (Secondary Source), may kindly share it in the interest of police investigation,” said in the statement.

According to the press statement from the SP (Crime) and PRO Nagaland Police, Manoj Kumar, the information may be shared via phone call or WhatsApp message to +91 6009803048 or email to firstname.lastname@example.org and the identity of the informant will be kept confidential on request.
“The original recorded audio/video/document would be collected from the source after following due legal procedures,” said the statement.
