Guwahati, Nov 15: The Covid-19 pandemic has seriously impacted schools in Assam and different states in northeast India, according to a report released by the Union education ministry titled ‘Unified District Information System for Education Plus’ (UDISE+).

The record states that over 4,500 schools under the place have close down in 2021-22 in comparison to the previous year.

“The decline in the total number of schools is mainly due to the closure of schools under private and other management,” the record mentioned.
