Delhi, May 14: Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Raghav Chadha recently got engaged, and a video from their engagement has taken the internet by storm.

In the video, the couple can be seen grooving to a song performed live at their engagement ceremony, standing near a table decorated with white flowers and lots of plants. Parineeti’s father Pawan Chopra was also seen next to her. As she held Raghav’s arms, he leaned in to kiss her cheek, following which she gave him a hug.

The newly-engaged couple were twinning in white ethnic outfits for the ceremony that was attended by family and friends, including actor Priyanka Chopra and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

After the engagement ceremony, Parineeti and Raghav stepped out to greet the paparazzi and pose for photos as they made their first public appearance as a newly-engaged couple. Parineeti wore a white kurta paired with a matching dupatta, which was designed by Manish Malhotra, while Raghav wore an achkan from Delhi-based designer Pawan Sachdev, who is also his uncle.

Parineeti and Raghav’s dating rumours started circulating earlier this year after they were spotted together at a Mumbai restaurant. Since then, they have made a couple of joint appearances at the Delhi and Mumbai airports and were recently spotted together at an IPL match.

Their engagement news came as a surprise to many, but their fans were quick to send their love and blessings. The video from their engagement was widely shared on social media and was getting lots of reactions. Many fans called them the “perfect couple” and commented on how much they looked in love.

Parineeti, who was last seen in Sooraj Barjatya’s “Uunchai”, will next be seen in “Chamkila” and “Capsule Gill”. On the other hand, Raghav Chadha is a member of the AAP and is currently serving as the Vice Chairman of the Delhi Jal Board.

While their engagement has certainly created a buzz on social media, it remains to be seen when the couple will tie the knot. For now, fans are eagerly waiting for more updates and pictures from the lovebirds.
