Guwahati, March 09: Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarked on an early morning adventure, taking a jeep and elephant safari ride at the renowned Kaziranga National Park in Assam after spending a night there.

Arriving in Assam’s Golaghat, PM Modi received a warm welcome from the locals before proceeding to Kaziranga for his overnight stay.

The visit was marked by a special cultural event organized in his honor.

PM Modi’s two-day visit to Assam aims to inaugurate and lay the foundation of projects amounting to Rs 18,000 crore.

His arrival at Tezpur airport was greeted with enthusiasm, with Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma extending a warm welcome.

Sarma expressed his excitement on Twitter, welcoming PM Modi to the land of Maa Kamakhya and Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardev.

From Tezpur, PM Modi flew to Panbari in Kaziranga via helicopter, concluding the journey with a short road trip to the Police Guest House near Central Kohora Range in Kaziranga National Park, where he spent the night.

The following morning, PM Modi engaged in a memorable jungle safari, immersing himself in the wild beauty of Kaziranga National Park.
