New Delhi, Nov 04: Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed his deep condolences regarding the loss of lives and destruction caused by the earthquake in Nepal on November 4.

Using the X platform, PM Modi shared his thoughts, saying, “Deeply saddened by the loss of lives and the damage caused by the earthquake in Nepal. India stands in solidarity with the people of Nepal and is ready to provide all possible assistance. Our thoughts are with the bereaved families, and we wish a swift recovery to the injured.”

Nepal experienced a powerful earthquake measuring 6.4 on the Richter scale, resulting in the tragic loss of more than 128 lives, with over 100 individuals sustaining injuries. The death toll is anticipated to increase as search and rescue operations continue among the wreckage.

This incident occurred late at night on November 3, with the tremors being felt not only in Nepal but also in the Delhi National Capital Region (NCR) and Uttar Pradesh.
