New Delhi, March 08: On International Women’s Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a significant announcement, reducing the prices of LPG cylinders by Rs 100.

In a social media post, PM Modi declared, “Today, on Women’s Day, our Government has decided to reduce LPG cylinder prices by Rs. 100.”

“This will significantly ease the financial burden on millions of households across the country, especially benefiting our Nari Shakti,” he tweeted.

“By making cooking gas more affordable, we also aim to support the well-being of families and ensure a healthier environment. This is in line with our commitment to empowering women and ensuring ‘Ease of Living’ for them.”

The revised prices of commercial gas cylinders in Kolkata were Rs 1,911.00, Rs 1,749.00 in Mumbai, and Rs 1,960.50 in Chennai.
