New Delhi, Feb 18: Prime Minister Narendra Modi outlined a strategy for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) during the party’s National Convention in New Delhi, urging members to focus on gaining the trust of voters over the next 100 days to ensure victory in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Addressing party cadres and leaders, PM Modi emphasized the importance of reaching out to new voters and securing their confidence.

He called on every BJP member to make it their mission to win the trust and support of voters, highlighting the significance of the next 100 days in this endeavor.

“Over the next 100 days, each one of us has to go out and reach out to new voters, every beneficiary and every community. We have got to win everyone’s trust and support,” the Prime Minister declared, urging workers to approach this task with renewed enthusiasm and vigor.

Pointing out the symbolic significance of the date, February 18, PM Modi highlighted the importance of newly eligible youth in shaping the future of the country by participating in the electoral process.

Emphasizing his commitment to national development over personal gain, PM Modi stated, “If I had thought of my home, it would not have been possible to build homes for crores of people.” He reiterated his dedication to “rashtraniti” (national policy) rather than mere “rajneeti” (politics), underscoring his focus on governance for the betterment of the nation.

Discussing the BJP’s strategy for building a developed India (“Viksit Bharat”), PM Modi stressed the importance of unity within the party and leveraging the collective strength of various demographics, including youths, women, and farmers.

“We have welcomed those who were previously overlooked by society, and not only that, we have also honored them,” PM Modi stated, highlighting the inclusive approach of the BJP.

Taking a dig at a remark made by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, PM Modi quipped, “Today, even some leaders in the Opposition are chanting ‘NDA sarkar 400 par.’ However, to achieve this goal in the Lok Sabha polls, the BJP must secure over 370 seats.”
