New Delhi, Mar 01: Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarked on a rigorous schedule following the BJP’s Central Election Committee (CEC) meeting, which concluded at 3:30 am.
His next stop was Sindhri in Jharkhand, where he aimed to revive a fertilizer plant, marking the third such revival initiative after Gorakhpur and Ramagundam plants.
Scheduled for 11 am, the event in Sindhri was followed by a rush to Dhanbad at 12:30 pm for a public meeting.
At 3 pm, he was set to lay foundation stones and inaugurate multiple projects in Arambagh, followed by a public address in the city at 3:45 pm.
The CEC meeting, chaired by PM Modi, aimed to finalize the first list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Joining him were BJP President JP Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah, and representatives and chief ministers from 16 states.

Amidst a packed agenda, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, Rajasthan CM Bhajan Lal Sharma, and Goa CM Pramod Sawant were among the attendees. Deputy CMs Brajesh Pathak and KP Maurya from UP also participated.
Representatives from various states, including Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Tripura, Madhya Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Delhi, Goa, Daman and Diu, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Assam, Chandigarh, and Telangana, were present.
The party is poised to release the first list of Lok Sabha election candidates, comprising 100 names, with expectations of PM Modi and Amit Shah’s inclusion.
Additionally, PM Modi’s Saturday schedule included numerous events, from laying foundation stones to flagging off projects across various locations, highlighting the BJP’s campaign momentum.
