Agartala, Aug 18: President Droupadi Murmu may visit to attend the platinum jubilee celebrations of Maharaja Bir Bikram College which will commence on September 05, Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath stated.
Nath, who presided over a preparatory assembly for the programme on Wednesday, stated the presence of the president will take the celebrations to a superb height.
“A rally will be held to mark the event on September 05 and the state-stage teachers’ day programme may also be held on the MBB College campus,” a senior reputable of the better training branch stated on Thursday.
A drawing competition, inter-university soccer tournament, cultural programs, and a cross-us of a run may also be held as part of the 75th anniversary of the state’s oldest university, he stated.
